Went grocery shopping on my bike today -- I was a little worried that I grabbed too much stuff and it wouldn't fit.
I felt pretty awesome.

Local lunch
Colorado sweet corn, Colorado cantaloupe, Colorado eggs (I figured out hard boiled eggs at high altitude!) and non local tomatoes (oh well). The sweet corn is extra awesome since I bought it from a farm stand in northeast Colorado that we stopped at between airport inspections yesterday.

I'm sorry beautiful bicycle
Dear Bike,
I'm so sorry I hadn't ridden you in forever. I got in the habit of driving for my errands, and I was traveling for work. Plus I hadn't been going to the gym, since I was just running and I'd been doing that outside.
But I still love you! I took you back to the bike shop for your "ride it around for a month or so and bring it back and we'll adjust things" tune-up. And I bought us a present so we can do grocery shopping easier!
I promise I'll use you more now!

P.S. I took those pictures with my new phone. Pretty awesome for a phone camera, eh?

Mmm spring food
I am totally obsessed with oven-roasted brussel sprouts this year. So delicious!!
My farmers market opens up in a week and a half, but unfortunately I basically won't be able to go until June-- I'll be out of town the first weekend for the half marathon in San Diego, the next weekend in South Dakota, and the weekend after that in Calgary. Sigh. And I still need to get a bike basket so I can get my purchases home without awkwardly bungeeing a bag of stuff to the back of my bike.
I biked to the gym and the grocery store today. Love it!

I totally forgot to give this post a title...
I really feel like I should update my blog, but I just haven't been in a writing mood. Oh well... Go list!
1. Stefano is playing in the championship game for his men's hockey league tomorrow night. GO STEFANO GO!!! So excited.
2. Speaking of hockey, it's NHL playoff season! My Avs had their worst season in franchise history, so I'll be rooting for the Blackhawks. Stefano might not talk to me if I didn't...
3. I love my bike. I've biked for errands every day this week. I need to go get a basket for the back so I can do grocery shopping.
4. It's lawn season, meaning my neighbor Mary has been out there four hours a day, on average, mowing, leaf-blowing, moving the sprinkler, and watering with the hose because apparently when you're Mary the sprinkler is just not enough. At least she's been nicer lately; the last couple times I've waved, she's waved back!
5. No new developments with the neighbor's unleashed dog. Haven't seen any of them in a while, actually. Maybe they're out of town.
6. Sometimes I feel like the guy from "Rear Window" because I watch and talk about my neighbors so much....
7. I went running downtown with Stefano and a running club at his gym. It was cold and I was the very slowest in the pack, but hey, I was part of the pack. Ok, well, I managed to keep part of the pack within sight the whole time. That counts, right? We ran a 5k, and I ran the three fastest miles I have ever run.
8. I don't think I've eaten out since I got back from Kentucky. I love my kitchen!
9. I think that's everything.
