Crazy week

This week has been absolutely crazy... Fun, busy, stressful, etc.

Sunday night we had baseball tickets, where we got to see the Rockies beat the Arizona Diamondbacks. It was a very dramatic game, with us making a comeback, then winning at the bottom of the 8th with a home run hit by Jason Giambi as a pinch hitter.  So much fun.  I really hope the Rockies can fight their way into the playoffs.

Monday was trivia night.  We've been playing trivia at a bar near our house for a month or two, but they cancelled until February when football is over.  Boo.  But we tried out a different location of the same trivia night downtown, which wasn't nearly as fun.  The quizmaster wasn't very funny, and there were way too many teams playing, which slowed everything down and we didn't get home until way too late.

Tuesday night we had another baseball game (Stefano, Christine and I have a 15-game ticket package), this time against the San Diego Padres, who are first in our division.  Unfortunately despite a very good nail-biter of a game, we ended up losing.  But another late night regardless...

Wednesday night, I was supposed to go to a happy hour after work, but I was exhausted.  And the house was a disaster so I stayed home and cleaned.  Stefano stopped by the happy hour for a little bit, then came home to help.

Last night, we went and played mini golf (or putt-putt, as Christine insists on calling it) with a group of other young engineers from his office.  After that, Christine, Stefano and I went back to our neighborhood for pizza and then back our house for tv.

And tonight we have a pig roast to go to.  And tomorrow going to watch the Illini game downtown with the Rocky Mountain Illini group.  I think Sunday I might actually have some of this elusive "free time" I've heard of.
