I had a salad with my favorite dressing in the world-- olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. So simple, elegant, and delicious. And I have my grandma to thank for introducing me to it. My grandma whose birthday was yesterday-- Happy birthday Grandma!
In the last 24 hours I have made (all from scratch):
- Peach ice cream
- Peach cornmeal upside down cake (sounds weird but delicious)
- Chili
- Cornbread muffins
I'll be out all weekend. We're going camping up Guanella Pass and climbing Mount Bierstadt. I'll try not to fall off the mountain or get eaten by a bear. And I promise to take lots of pictures.
