Wedding Photos!

Sampling of some of my favorite photos from the wedding.  I can't stop flipping through them and smiling. (click on a photo to enlarge it)

I love Grandma Dodo's smile here.

Apparently he wasn't nervous.  At all.

Spike kept hamming it up for the camera.

See what I mean?

Yep.  I chose him.

I love my Dad's expression here.

My sister, my Dad's cousin Ernie, and his wife Janet.  We were in DC at the same time for a lot of my time growing up.

My Aunt Sue and my cousin's wife Amber.  My favorite thing about this picture is the awesome mother-in-law/daughter-in-law relationship here.

My cousins' kids.  I can't believe how grown-up they're getting!  I remember carrying Benjo (the one on the left) for most of a Thanksgiving when he was two.

Seriously.  WHO IS THIS RELAXED RIGHT BEFORE HIS WEDDING???

I'd love to know what he was talking about here.  Must have been awesome.

Here's what's going through all of our (at least me and my Mom's)  heads: "don't trip, don't trip, don't trip"

We're all laughing because Stefano forgot his lines... Well not really.  He just missed a cue, and went "huh???" when he realized we were all waiting for him to say something.

First married kiss!

I do believe he's smirking.

Mrs. Bethea-- one of my Dad's first (possibly the first?) captains' wife.  They helped pick out our house in Virginia, and they were our neighbors down the street for a while.

Farhan, Mo, and Rozy.  Mo and Farhan were Stefano's roommates in college.

Stefano and my friend Ben, and Kristin's friends Jen and Lindsay.  Lindsay was amazing and helped plan my bridal shower.

We did outside photos at a gazebo near the Lemont train station.  It was a veterans memorial park, so they had military flags.  We made my dad pose.

It was raining a bit... It started raining harder so I ran for the gazebo.

Eddie was very afraid that Barn was going to have to sit on his knee like Kate is on Spike's knee.

Love love LOVE this picture of my grandma.  It captures her perfectly!

I also love this picture of my parents.  They look so relaxed!

And I believe my father is smirking here.  Or snickering at something.

I believe Spike was trying to be Steven Colbert.

I couldn't make a cake topper decision.  So I left it to Stefano.

Apparently my grandma was upset that I clipped my bangs back.  But they were driving me nuts!!

I wish I remembered what we were discussing here.  It looks funny.

My sister, talking to Miss Lessie and Mr Steve-- our neighbors in Key West and then again later in Hawaii.  They have two boys, one just younger than me and one just younger than Kris.

My mom's cousin Peggy's boyfriend.  He's an avid sailor and apparently a skiier too.  He really liked our cake topper.

Here's Miss Leslie again-- she has an amazing smile and an amazing laugh.

And here's her younger son Brian.  I can't believe how grown-up we both are!

Barn and his fiancee Ann-Marie.  They're next!!

Kate... looking happy to have a cocktail.  Probably a vodka gimlet, if I know her.

My grandma looks so happy!

So does my grandpa!  And he couldn't keep his glasses from falling down his face all night.

I also wish I knew what was going on here.

My grandma, Uncle Bob, and aunt Dee.  Our photographer went to high school with my Uncle Bob, and did the photography for their wedding about 25 years ago!

So this is a quarter of the reason the wedding was so big...  This is just my mom's extended family.  Except we managed to forget to grab my sister, Uncle Bob, or Aunt Dee.  Oops.

MY FAVORITE PHOTO!  I just love that Stefano is opening his mouth as he's feeding me a bite, just like you do when you're feeding a little kid.

This was during Barn's toast.  I believe he mentioned Stefano's Monte Carlo and the poncho he used to wear.

Me: "what have I gotten myself into??"

My sister gave a lovely toast!  Even if she was nervous...

Goofy picture of the Furteks.

Me and the dancing king.

My sister was enjoying the dance too.

My dad and I danced to "Somewhere Over the Rainbow".  The Wizard of Oz was always one of his favorites.

And Stefano and his mom danced to "Sweet Child of Mine"

Awesome wedding!  Thanks again to everyone who helped!
